In order to install Feit electric floodlight security camera, first, you have to remove mounting plate and remove all rubber washers and decorative nuts.

Installing a Feit security camera typically involves two parts which are as follows.

Part#1: External J-Box Installation

• Turn off main power from breaker.
• By using J-box screws that are included in package, install mounting bar to external J-box.
• Pass J-box wires while extending them through mounting gasket and plate (tear away perforation of mounting gasket).
• Join mounting gasket and mounting plate to mounting bar.
• Now connect wires of power supply to terminal block. (black wire to “L”, ground wire to “GND” and white wire to “N”).
• Join fixture body to mounting plate using decorative nuts and rubber washers.
• Turn on power from breaker and check whether lights are working then proceed further.

Tip: Apply silicone sealant at base of fixture to make sure moisture stays away from connections.

Part#2: Flush J-Box Installation

• Turn off main power from breaker.
• Join mounting bar with flush J-box.
• Pass J-box wires through mounting gasket and mounting plate ( do not tear away perforation of mounting gasket).
• Join mounting gasket and mounting plate to mounting bar.
• Now connect power supply wires to terminal block ((black wire to “L”, ground wire to “GND” and white wire to “N”).
• Join fixture body and mounting plate together.
• Turn on power from breaker and check lights again. Apply silicon sealant at base of fixture here too to prevent moisture from reaching in.

Positioning Motion Sensor And Camera

To be delivered best performance, place base of motion sensor parallel and 9ft, above ground.

Note: lights and camera can be angled in different directions.

How To Setup Feit Floodlight Security Camera

The steps of setting up Feit floodlight security cameras are as follows.

• To operate Feit security camera, make sure you have 2.4Ghz processor because this camera will not be able to be operated on 5GHz networks.
• Next step is to download Feit electric app and create an account or log into your old one.

Feit electric app will provide two methods for setup: QR code method and EZ mode.

Setup Via QR Mode

• In Feit electric app tap + sign and select “Cameras” under “Security & Cameras”.
• While making sure indicator light is flashing, press confirm.
• Now, a QR code will be generated.
• In order for your Feit flood light security camera to successfully read QR code, keep your smartphone with QR code visible 6-12 inches away from camera.
• When you hear a clear beep from camera, press “I heard the beep” which will start pairing.
• After successful pairing, you will have a confirmation screen on your smartphone.

Tip: If your Feit security camera is having difficulty reading QR code then move your camera and smartphone away from direct sunlight.

Setup Via EZ Mode

• Press “+” sign on Feit Electric app and select “Cameras” from “Security & Cameras”
• Select EZ mode in top right as your method of installation.
• Tap on confirm if you see a blinking indicator light. If you do not see one then for 5 minutes press and hold “Reset” button and when you hear a tone then choose confirm.
• You will be then asked for Wifi password.
• After entering password, Feit camera will start to connect and when it is done connecting the indicator light will turn blue ( not blinking this time).
• You can also rename your Feit security camera if you wish by tapping on pen icon.
